Come Inspired
We love seeing all the dresses you’ve been fawning over on Pinterest and in magazines! Bring your favorite inspiration pictures, and your boutique consultant will be able to have a better idea of your personal style and pull dresses she thinks you’ll love.
Undergarments
It’s important to bring the right undergarments so you have the most accurate idea of what your gown will look like on your wedding day. We recommend nude or white undergarments, as they won’t detract from the dress—a strapless bra is perfect if you have one.
Come Ready
The morning of your appointment, get ready! There’s no need to get fully glam the way you will on your wedding day, but coming with yourself put together versus no makeup and a messy bun could be the difference between a yes or a no. You’ll have a better idea of what you’ll look like on your wedding day!
Accessories
Bring any accessories you know you’ll wear on your wedding day. If you have a sentimental piece you know you’ll be wearing, bring it so you can see what your dress will look like with it! You’ll want to be sure it will go with the gown, especially if it’s a family heirloom.
Bring Guests
We love when brides bring guests to their appointments! You’ll love having someone to share in your joy when you find the one, and it’ll be lovely to have someone who knows your personal style there to help give you advice when you need it and are torn on a tough decision. However, we recommend being selective in your guests—you’ll want to bring only those who are supportive to the appointment, and keep the number low. Too many voices can drown out your opinion—which is the most important when choosing your wedding dress!
